Welcome to the intacs® certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® course

Objective

This training is the preparation course for the intacs® certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® examination. Automotive SPICE® is used to evaluate and improve  development processes in the automotive industry. It is the automotive-specific derivation based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 330xx and is a standard recommended by the VDA for the evaluation of development projects at automotive OEMs and their suppliers. You will learn about the interpretations of most of the processes from Automotive SPICE®, which you need for conducting assessments and to implement process improvement in system and software engineering

  • Brief introduction to rating scale and how to derive a capability level rating
  • How to improve processes
  • Various group activities accompany the training


Target Group

  • People planning on becoming certified assessors (N.B.: the certification as an intacs® certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE® is the prerequisite to continue with the next step in becoming an intacs® certified Provisional Assessor Automotive SPICE®).
  • Quality and project team members who need to ensure that the requirements of the Automotive SPICE® Process Assessment Model are met within the project.
  • Process Owners and process improvement team members who need to ensure that Automotive SPICE® requirements are covered by the organization’s process landscape.


Preconditions

Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g. software/system development, project management, quality management, etc.


Exam

Passing the exam is a prerequisite for participation in the VDA-QMC certification process
